After we spoke, he followed up with text updates confirming the appointment time and arrival window, which I really appreciated. He and his son arrived right on time at 11:30am, just a couple of hours later. They were both courteous, efficient, and made the whole process incredibly easy. The price was very reasonable—especially compared to the big-name junk removal services—and there were no surprise fees or upsells. Same-day service, great communication, and genuinely nice people to work with. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future needs and highly recommend them to anyone in the Santa Cruz area looking for dependable junk removal. UPDATE: January 2, 2026: Another service and I again must give my HIGHEST recommendation for Santa Cruz Junk Removal. I needed a storage unit cleaned out and sorted. I contacted Adam again at Santa Cruz Junk Removal on New Years Eve. He called me back within minutes, and even offered same day service (I did not need this right away). So an appointment was set for Friday, January 2. All along the way he communicated early - texting a half hour before he arrived. He arrived on-time (even early), and with his son they truly went above and beyond what I needed. They not only took hauled my stuff from this unit (full of boxes of house-stuff that were falling apart), he also even swept up and cleaned the unit! I had a treadmill that had been disassembled and I needed it to be taken away. My local garbage company would not pick it up because it had been disassembled and in too many pieces (if it was in one piece they would have picked it up for free) but would pick it up for a rather hefty fee in several days. I found Santa Cruz Junk Removal and after reading the reviews I gave them a call. Adam answered right away and when I described what I had he quoted me a price that was more than reasonable. I had called at about 9:00 in the morning and he gave me a tentative appointment for the same day. He kept in constant communication and texted me that he would be there at the scheduled time. He and his son showed up on time, were VERY friendly, and picked up all of my treadmill pieces in a short amount of time. Payment was super simple as well. I value quality customer service and I can say without hesitation that Santa Cruz Junk Removal is and will forever be my go-to for these kind of jobs. I highly recommend them to anyone needing to have junk removed. I wish I had taken before and after photos, but I did not - they were fast, efficient, friendly, and great communication. Also, the quote they gave was MUCH lower than some of the other big-name companies I called. Will definitely use again.

Please do yourself a favor and call Adam and his crew right away. I couldn’t be happier to have some space back in my garage and they were so thorough and thoughtful. Adam is easy to talk to and communicates very clearly on the day of pick up. I wish I had taken a before photo so you could see the total transformation, but trust me, it was not pretty. Thanks, Adam, I will definitely call you in the future!
